We’re looking for a full-time Head of Growth to drive new patient growth and revenue acceleration initiatives in service of Millie's mission to build a new standard for maternity care.

Role Summary: Head of Growth 

The Head of Growth leads and manages Millie’s growth function. You will be a partner to senior leadership on new patient growth and revenue acceleration initiatives.  This is a combination of very strategic work and hands-on management. 

If you’re passionate about women’s health, excited about solving big problems, and want to play a key role in building a fast-scaling tech-enabled hybrid healthcare company, this is an ideal role.

A day in this role may include launching a new marketing campaign, building win-win partnerships with like-minded brands, activating local referral networks, analyzing the lifecycle of our patients, or discussing the operational implications of patient volumes.

This is a full-time role with benefits. Ideally based in the Bay Area, remote applicants will be considered based on experience.

About Millie

Despite spending the most of any country, the US has the worst outcomes of any high income nation with high rates of maternal mortality & morbidity, c-sections, preterm births, and perinatal depression. The reason is our broken care model which provides incomplete, reactive care that is often overmedicalized. 

Millie is building a new standard that brings together collaborative OB/Midwifery care in a modern, tech-enabled clinic model extended with virtual care & remote monitoring to provide continuous, personalized care from conception through the first year of parenthood. We accept all major insurance plans including Medicaid. 

We launched our first clinic in Berkeley, CA in September 2022 and have been growing rapidly. We will be launching additional services in 2023 and are working on scaling the Millie care model nationally.  Read more here: https://www.millieclinic.com/ 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a pipeline of marketing-qualified leads using B2B and B2C channels
  • Establish the criteria for marketing qualified leads
  • Identify and optimize most fruitful demand channels
  • Oversee growth channels to develop a strong pipeline
  • Analyze & report on channel performance
  • Manage spend & calculate ROI, CPL, CAC
  • Activate local marketing though provider referral networks & patient communities
  • Create a lifecycle marketing strategy across the pregnancy to parenthood journey 
  • Identify and build partnerships with like-minded brands 
  • Other tasks as assigned by leadership

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of direct experience in B2B and B2C growth marketing
  • Demand creation in a healthtech organization, preferably with a clinic model 
  • Social media and video-based (including short-form video) lead generation
  • Digital advertising, including Google SEM, email, Meta, TikTok, Linkedin, Twitter
  • Successful management of multiple channels
  • Experience using Excel, Slack, Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • SEO and content creation experience 
  • Experience building brand partnerships to create awareness 
  • Experience with local marketing campaigns (referral networks & community)
  • Prior work experience in a brand-led consumer or health services company 
  • Prior experience in the women’s health sector
