- Insertion: a brief in-person procedure to place your new IUD
- Removal: a brief in-person procedure to take out your current IUD, whether you’re ready to try for a pregnancy, switching methods, or it’s due to be replaced
- Questions and preparation: time to talk through what the procedure feels like and what to expect afterward
