Millie App Account / Data Deletion Policy

Millie, Inc. and its affiliated entities (“Millie,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal information. This App Account / Data Deletion Policy (“Policy”) explains how to request that your account and/or data are deleted from our mobile app (our “App”, "Millie Maternity"). For information on how your non-app data is handled, please see our Privacy Policy.

We may collect or receive certain personal information and other data about you that is governed by federal law, such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).  Please review our Notice of Privacy Practice which governs our use, disclosure and access to information protected by HIPAA. This Policy does not intend to include information about how we handle HIPAA-regulated personal health information (“PHI”). 

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services, even if they may link to our Sites or our Sites may link to them. We recommend you review the privacy practices of those third parties before connecting accessing third party websites and sharing any personal information.

We also encourage you to review our Terms of Use to understand how we treat your personal information as you make full use of our Sites. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use.

In order to request that your account is deleted, please contact our privacy officer using one of the methods described below in section (2). Sending an email to privacy@millieclinic.com from the email address you use to log in is preferred. If you cannot access that email, you may send from another email, and we will take additional steps to verify your identity. Use subject line "Account Deletion Request" or "Data Deletion Request". For a data deletion request, please specify which data elements you wish to be deleted.

When your account data is deleted, we will delete all of your messages and app activity data. We will retain blood pressure measurements and symptom tracking as part of your clinical record.

Our Privacy Officer will review your request within 10 business days and reply with an approval or request for modification of the request (if needed to comply with HIPAA).
